This page explains how users of IZBA Real Estate LLC can request deletion of personal data collected through izba.ae, our contact forms, email, and WhatsApp Business (including apps connected to our Meta Business account).

1. Who can request deletion

Any individual whose personal data we hold may request deletion, subject to legal or contractual retention requirements (for example, active transactions, regulatory records, or dispute resolution).

2. What data we can delete

Upon a valid request, we will delete or anonymize where deletion is not possible:

  • Contact details (name, email, phone, WhatsApp number);
  • Inquiry and lead records tied to your identity;
  • WhatsApp conversation history stored in our systems;
  • Newsletter subscription data;
  • Other personal data not required to be retained by law.

We may retain minimal records if required by UAE law, RERA obligations, anti-money-laundering rules, or legitimate business documentation (e.g. completed transaction files).

3. How to submit a deletion request

Send a request using one of the following methods. Include your full name, phone number or email used with us, and "Data deletion request" in the subject or message.

  • Email: info@izba.ae
  • WhatsApp: message our official WhatsApp Business number from the number you wish to delete and state that you want your data removed.
  • Website: use our contact page and select a general inquiry with "Data deletion request" in your message.

4. Verification

To protect your privacy, we may ask you to verify your identity (e.g. confirm the email or phone number on file) before processing deletion.

5. Processing time

We aim to confirm receipt within 5 business days and complete deletion within 30 days, unless a longer period is required by law or an active matter involves your data.

6. WhatsApp & Meta

Deleting data from IZBA systems does not automatically delete messages from your WhatsApp app or Meta's servers. To manage data held by Meta, refer to WhatsApp's Privacy Policy and your device settings.
